Homeostasis

Homeostasis is defined as an organisms ability to have a stable and constant internal environment. The thermometer represents homeostasis because temperature helps maintain the body's internal environment. The normal temperature of a humans body is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. If temperatures drop or get higher, we either shiver or sweat, these are called feedback controls.
