Organisms in Same Genus but Different Species

Two organisms that are in the same genus but different species are two types of dogs, the poodle and dachshund! Both animals are in the canis genus, but poodles are known as canis lupus familiaris when the dachshund are known only as canis familiaris.

Protein

Bacon is another example of protein. Bacon comes from pigs, and a lot of meat products contain a lot of protein. 

Organisms in Different Kingdoms

Another example of two organisms in two different kingdoms are trees and mushrooms. Trees are of course part of the plantae kingdom while mushrooms are part of the fungi kingdom.

Evidence of Different Alleles for the Same Trait

Different colored roses shows evidence of different alleles for the same trait. One roses is made white, or one is made naturally red. 

Heterotroph

A heterotroph are organisms that get their necessary nutrients for life by obtaining organic substances. An example are humans. Humans eat other foods to help get the nutrients they need.

CAM Plant

An example of a CAM plant is a pineapple. CAM stands for crassulacean acid metabolism. Pineapples utilize CAM as an adaptation for climates with little rain. 

C4 Plant

C4 plants are plants that bond to CO2 into 4 carbon atoms before starting the Calvin cycle. An example of a c4 plant is corn!
